• Work must meet 6th grade standards: legible, academic vocabulary, complete sentences
• Use RACE format when citing evidence:

  • Explain the connection
• Follow directions and due dates in Google Classroom

• Formative: Daily work, notes, group tasks
• Summative: Quizzes, tests, essays, and projects

📘 Curriculum: CPM Core Connections 1 (CC1)

Materials Needed:

• CPM E-Book & textbook (in-class)
• Graph paper notebook (plain is fine, graph or dotted is better for graphs/charts)
• Pencil or erasable ink
• Calculator

📅 Weekly Flow

• Daily: Group Introduction & Instruction→ Group Work (classwork problems) → Review & Preview (individual practice)
• End of Chapter: Closure → Team Assessment → Practice Assessment → Individual Assessment

📝 Assignments & Expectations

• All problems need to be attempted for full credit. No “IDK” responses.
• Work needs to be shown on all math.
